  1. Homeschool Happenings: Ahoy, Pirates!

    April 9, 2018, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ DeKalb Public Library, Story & Activity Room

    Ahoy, Scallywags! Swing on board for a swashbuckling good time, learning about the famous scourges of the sea: pirates! We’ll travel back in time to learn about some famous pirates and “tricks of the trade.” We’ll do some crafts to make ourselves into pirates, and then we’ll go on a scavenger hunt! Get yer mateys and prepare for a garrrr-reat time! This event is open to kids of all ages. Everyone is invited to attend and discover what homeschooling is all about.   6. Maker Mondays: 3D Design a Door Hanger

    April 9, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ DeKalb Public Library, Nancy D. Castle Collaboration Studio

    Learning TinkerCAD and using our 3D Printers, you’ll create your very own door hanger! After the class, we’ll print your hanger out for you on our 3D printers to be picked up in a couple of days. This class and the accompanying 3D print is completely free! We do ask that participants be at least 8 years old, and have basic computer skills. No experience with 3D design or printing is required.
