  2. Mighty Makers: Code & Go Robot Mice

    October 6, 2018, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ DeKalb Public Library, Story & Activity Room

Can you help the mouse find the cheese? To get the mouse there, we’ll be coding–but without using a computer! Using our new Code & Go Robot Mice, we’ll set up mazes and give our mice instructions to find the cheese. The Code & Go Robot Mice are a wonderful way to build problem-solving and sequential thinking skills and require NO previous coding experience. This program is part of Mighty Makers, our making club for K-5th grade students. We meet monthly to do a STEM challenge. Materials for this event were provided through a grant by the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary Club. Space is limited to 20 participants. Registration for this FREE program will begin 1 hour before the start of the program, at the Youth Services Desk. First come, first served! For additional information, please contact Laura at or at (815) 756-9568 ext. 3350.
