  1. Homeschool Happenings: Career Day

    January 22, 2018, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ DeKalb Public Library, Story and Activity Room

    Six speakers from different fields will share information about their jobs and what they do in a typical day. There will be time for questions after each presentation, and at the end of the program, you could win a prize during a Q&A session about the speakers! This event is open to kids of all ages.     Join the Pokémon League! Everyone is welcome to attend this program, run by the Gaming Goat, where you can learn how to play Pokémon, and then participate in the game.   5. Advanced TinkerCad: Design a Winter Bird Feeder

    Winter is a challenging time of year for our feathered friends, so we’re going to learn to use the 3D design software TinkerCAD and 3D printing to fashion them small feeders. Once you’ve designed your feeder, we’ll print it out for you to pick up in a couple of days! This class and the accompanying 3D print is completely free! We do ask that participants be at least 8 years old, and have basic computer skills. No experience with 3D design or printing is required. Sign up begins 15 minutes before class in the Nancy D.
