1. How much does it cost to ride the bus?

The following routes are free to ride: 2R, 2L, 3R, 3L, 4E, 4/5, 5L, 5R, 9L, 10

The following routes require the standard fare: 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21

The following routes require a special fare: 12

2. What hours of the day do the buses operate?

The majority of the bus routes operate between 7:00a - 12:00a seven day a week when Northern Illinois University (NIU) is in full session.  During break periods (Winter & Summer Break), the Huskie Line buses operate their Break Service schedule.  All Full Service and Break Service schedules for each route can be found on the Maps & Schedules page.

3. Who do I contact if I leave something on the bus?

If a personal item is left behind on a Huskie Bus or paratransit vehicle, you can contact Transdev at 815-758-6900 or 815-420-5500.
