[ARCHIVED] Snow Routes

Snow routes in the City of DeKalb will take effect at 8 p.m. Saturday.

With six to ten inches of snow expected Saturday night into Sunday, the Public Works Department is preemptively putting snow routes into effect as allowed under Ordinance 51.21. Beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday, parking will be prohibited along all streets marked with snow route signs until plow is completed.

All residents, including those who do not live on snow routes, are encouraged to use off-street parking to aid snow removal.

The activation of snow routes comes as DeKalb is under a Winter Storm Warning from 3 p.m. Saturday until 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Thank you for your cooperation.
