[ARCHIVED] Transdev Services Now Operating Paratransit Services for City of DeKalb and DeKalb Urbanized Area

Effective January 1, 2021, Transdev Services Inc. now provides paratransit and deviated flex route services for DeKalb, Sycamore, and Cortland through their contract with the City of DeKalb.  All relevant passenger information, including reservation procedures, service area, and fare for the paratransit and non-emergency medical transportation services can be found in the City of DeKalb Rider's Guide.  All passengers attempting to schedule a paratransit or non-emergency medical transportation ride with Transdev must be an approved and eligible rider.

- If you have previously used or are actively using the Voluntary Action Center (VAC) paratransit services, then you are eligible to continue using the same services with Transdev as of January 1, 2021.

- If you are not registered with VAC and would like to submit an application to be considered for paratransit services, please complete a City of DeKalb Paratransit Application and return to Transdev.    Once a complete application is submitted to Transdev, a determination of eligibility will be occur within 21 days of submission of a properly completed application.

- If you would like to schedule a paratransit or non-emergency medical transportation ride with Transdev, please contact their office at 815-420-5500.
