You had a busy day and forgot to move your car. The next morning you have a parking ticket on the windshield. What is your next step?Currently, there are three different ways to pay off a parking ticket. You can pay off the ticket at the DeKalb Police Department (700 West Lincoln Highway) or the DeKalb City Hall Finance Division (200 South Fourth Street). Additionally, you can mail your parking ticket payment to:

DeKalb Police Department
700 West Lincoln Highway
DeKalb, IL 60115

To contest a parking ticket you must speak to the officer who wrote you the parking ticket. Should the ticket be upheld and you are still unsatisfied, you may request a court date. The officer and you will then appear before a Judge to hear testimonies and deliver judgment.
