BIASED ENFORCEMENT

The DeKalb Police Department believes in working together with the community to address issues of common interest.  We have established a relationship with the community that promotes open communication and encourages mutual respect and trust.

Chief Feithen has attended several meetings and training sessions at the state and national level to explore the issue of Racial Profiling.  Chief Feithen also issued a department policy against biased enforcement on March 8, 2001.
