DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport Governance Study

The DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport is an economic engine for a large area of northern Illinois with a total impact of $10.7 million (Illinois Department of Transportation, 2012).  The annual operating expenses of the airport are approximately $1 million. In addition, the airport anticipates receiving several million of dollars over the next five years from the State of Illinois to support the Transportation Improvement Program (TIPS).
